The Boulder City Post Office is helping celebrate the grand opening of the Hoover Dam bypass bridge, christened the Mike O'Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, with a limited edition, collector envelope.
The $240 million project to span the Colorado River is the longest single-span concrete arch bridge in the western hemisphere.
The stunning envelopes are designed by Brad Appleby, who also designed the Boulder City license plate. They depict the Hoover Dam from the front side, and on the back of the envelope is a river view.
No town is closely tied to the Hoover dam and bridge than Boulder City, Nevada, which continues to serve as the “home town.” The city was originally built to house the thousands of workers and their families who built the dam.
The envelopes are available only here. Get your piece of history!
